The quick answer
For reactive skin, prioritise an assessment and a plan that accounts for your previous reactions. 'Gentle', 'soothing' and 'no downtime' are menu descriptions, not proof that a treatment suits your skin.
Describe what sensitive means for you
Bring examples: which products caused a reaction, when it happened, whether you have a diagnosed condition and which medicines or creams you use. Photographs from a flare can help explain something that is not visible at the appointment.
If your skin is currently sore, inflamed or changing, ask for diagnosis before an elective procedure. Do not let a package replace a discussion of the problem.
Review every ingredient and step
A facial can involve acids, fragrance, suction or several leave-on products. Ask for the actual steps and whether they can be omitted. Trying several new treatments at once also makes it harder to work out what caused a reaction.

Buy an assessment, not a label
Ask the doctor whether doing nothing today would be preferable, how to manage a reaction and when to seek an in-person review. A clinician who can explain why to postpone a procedure is more useful than a long list of treatments marketed for sensitive skin.
Questions to take to the clinic
- Given my reaction history and current symptoms, should I postpone treatment?
- Which ingredients and devices are involved at every step?
- Can I leave with an assessment and skincare plan without buying a procedure?
- What is the written total, including VAT, numbing, consumables and aftercare?
- Who handles follow-up, and how can I reach them after I leave Korea?
Common questions
Is LDM or an Aqua Peel automatically safe for sensitive skin?
No. The name does not establish your suitability or the products used in the visit. Discuss your condition and reaction history with a qualified clinician first.
Sources and scope
Service comparisons describe public features, not clinical quality. Reddit links show the questions travellers ask; personal accounts can be incomplete or promotional and are not medical evidence. Medical suitability and travel clearance require the treating clinician's assessment.
