Rejuran cream vs injections: same brand, different evidence

Can Rejuran cream replace injections? Compare topical c-PDRN skincare with injectable PN, what the research supports and how to read Korean product labels.

Reviewed · Glow Lab editorial research

The quick answer

A Rejuran cream is not a Rejuran injection in a jar. The manufacturer's Healing Cream is a topical skincare product with c-PDRN; injectable Rejuran products use PN formulations delivered by a clinician. Route, formulation and evidence differ. A cream can fit a non-procedural skincare goal without being an injection substitute. Injection studies do not prove that a cream produces the same results, and the shared brand does not mean you need both.

Read the product category before the promise

PharmaResearch's Healing Cream listing describes a 50 ml topical cream with c-PDRN and ingredients including glycerin, shea butter, oils and panthenol. Its listed use is application at the last step of skincare. That is a specific cosmetic product description, not evidence about an injectable.

Injectable Rejuran variants have their own formulation and clinical context. For example, HB Plus contains PN, HA and lidocaine. Other creams or regional products sold under the Rejuran name may have different ingredients, sizes and instructions. Match the actual label instead of treating the whole brand as one formula.

PN and PDRN are not a permission to share results

The terms belong to a related family of nucleotide-based materials, but a product-specific formulation and delivery route still matter. Seeing PN, PDRN or c-PDRN on two labels does not establish the same tissue exposure or effect. An ingredient story is not a head-to-head outcome study.

The PN systematic review linked here evaluated aesthetic treatment research, with small and varied studies. It is not a trial showing that this Healing Cream matches Rejuran injections. Ask whether a skincare claim comes from testing the finished cream, an ingredient experiment or an injectable study being borrowed for marketing.

When the cream is the more sensible discussion

Our editorial take: if you want a topical skincare product and do not want a procedure, a cream is a more relevant category to discuss than an injection package. Evaluate its full ingredient list, cost and fit with your existing routine. There is no need to buy an injectable treatment to justify interest in a skincare brand.

That does not mean this cream is automatically the best moisturizer or appropriate for every skin. The cited ingredient list includes fragrance and botanical ingredients, so disclose sensitivities and ask a clinician or pharmacist if you are unsure. Do not assume a product marketed around treatment recovery is suitable for fresh procedure sites without your clinician's advice.

When an injection is a different question altogether

If you are considering a procedure for a particular skin-quality concern, ask whether a PN injectable has reasonable evidence for that goal and whether the likely change justifies the discomfort, recovery and cost. The systematic review found a limited and heterogeneous evidence base, rather than a guarantee of dramatic results.

A cream cannot be assumed to reproduce a procedure's studied effect. Equally, a procedure is not automatically better for routine dryness or a skincare-shopping goal. Define the problem first. If neither product fits the clinical assessment or your preferences, choosing neither is a valid outcome.

Compare budgets without inventing an equivalent dose

A 50 ml jar and a 2 cc injection are not equivalent doses. One is a topical retail purchase; the other price can include a clinician's time, delivery method and aftercare. Compare the same cream and jar size across retailers, and the same injectable product, quantity and visit plan across clinics.

The Rejuran benchmark below concerns 2 cc event listings, not the cream or every variant. We do not have a matched cream price benchmark. Ask for VAT, comfort measures, proposed repeat visits and aftercare on an injection quote; check the topical product's actual seller, label and total retail price separately.

Current Seoul prices to compare

Retail millilitres of cream and injected cc cannot be used to calculate equivalent treatment value. Confirm the exact product category before comparing a price.

Questions to take to the clinic

  1. Is this a topical cosmetic or a clinician-administered injectable?
  2. What exact formulation, variant and package size am I buying?
  3. Was the claimed result tested with this finished product and route?
  4. Does it fit my goal, sensitivities and existing skincare or treatment plan?
  5. What is the complete retail or procedure cost, including any proposed course?

Common questions

Can Rejuran cream replace Rejuran injections?

The sources reviewed here do not establish equivalent results. The cream and injectable differ in formulation and route. A topical product can meet a skincare goal without being an injection substitute.

Does Rejuran injection research prove the cream works?

No. Research on an injectable PN protocol cannot automatically validate a finished topical c-PDRN product. Look for evidence on the exact cream and the outcome being claimed.

Should I buy Rejuran cream after injections?

Follow your treating clinician's product and aftercare instructions. A shared brand name does not establish that this cream is necessary or suitable immediately after a procedure.

Sources and scope

This is sourced editorial research, not a hands-on treatment review or an independent clinical trial. Device specifications and manufacturer claims are distinguished from human study findings. Study size, protocol and comparison groups limit what can be concluded. The practical trade-offs labelled as our editorial take are interpretations, not proven superiority. Medical suitability and travel clearance require the treating clinician's assessment.
