3 sessions × ₩209,000, lasting about 9 months. After a first course of 3–4 sessions, clinics advise a top-up every 6–12 months; published studies only follow people for 3–6 months.
Uses this week's Seoul median and the typical duration from studies. Other treatments use their midpoint duration and usual first course.
Bumps are almost unnoticeable after about 24 hours and makeup is fine from then; clinics put full downtime at 2–3 days at most (Smart Skin Clinic).
Rows of small raised bumps, like mosquito bites, often with some redness.

Day 1 or 2 of your trip, so any bumps are gone before the sightseeing photos.
At least 2 full days. Leave a week if you have an important event right after, in case of bruising.
One session gives a noticeable boost. The full effect needs 3–4 sessions about 3 weeks apart, so plan it as a yearly Seoul top-up, or finish the course at home where it's available.
Seoul clinics often pair it with a lifting treatment like Shurink or Ultherapy in the same visit. Ask the doctor what order they use.
Rejuran works in any month, but its tiny injection wounds and 24–48 hour no-heat rule are easiest to respect from October to March, when Seoul's UV index sits at 2–5 and there's no monsoon humidity.
Yes. Its active ingredient, polynucleotides, is purified from salmon DNA. Tell the doctor if you have a fish allergy.
For many people, yes: skin often looks more rested and hydrated within days. The full effect on fine lines and pores comes from a course of 3–4 sessions about 3 weeks apart.
At least 2 full days, so the bumps are gone. Leave about a week if you have an important event, because a bruise can take 1–2 weeks to fade.
Rejuran is not FDA-approved in the United States; a few clinics offer it off-label. In Singapore it typically costs S$600–1,000 per session and in Australia A$900–1,200 per Healer syringe.
HB Plus adds hyaluronic acid and lidocaine, a local anaesthetic, so it's noticeably less painful. It usually costs a little more.
It's one of the more uncomfortable skin boosters because of the number of injections. Numbing cream helps; HB Plus or a nerve block helps more.

Polynucleotides are chains of DNA fragments. Injected into the skin, they are thought to support the cells that make collagen (fibroblasts) and to help the skin repair itself.
A 2025 systematic review in the Journal of Cosmetic Dermatology found nine studies with 219 patients in total. Results for wrinkles, texture and elasticity were positive, side effects were mild and short-lived, but the studies were of low to moderate quality.
Newer split-face trials compare injection techniques and depths, and a 2026 study reported improvement in under-eye wrinkles after the first and especially the second session.
In short: a plausible mechanism and encouraging early results, but not yet the large trials behind treatments like Botox.
