A hyaluronic acid plus PDLLA collagen booster: some plumpness on day one, then months of gradual firming.

Seoul prices are event listings on Gangnam Unni's Korean app, VAT included. Many are first-visit or trial deals, clinics can show foreigners different prices, and the tourist VAT refund ended in 2025. How Korean clinic prices work →

3 sessions × ₩197,900, lasting about 9 months. Clinics advise a top-up every 6–12 months after a first course of 2–3 sessions (some claim 12–18 months); studies only follow people for about 3–6 months.
Uses this week's Seoul median and the typical duration from studies. Other treatments use their midpoint duration and usual first course.
Clinics report bumps and redness settle in about 24 hours to 3 days, with light sightseeing fine the next day; a bruise, if any, can last 1–2 weeks.
Small raised bumps across the cheeks and forehead from the injections, plus some puffiness. A bit more swelling than Rejuran, since the PDLLA particles take up more room at first.

Early in your trip, day 1 or 2, if you want the bumps and swelling gone before more photos.
At least 3 full days. Leave longer if you have an important event, since swelling and any bruising can take a little longer than Rejuran to fully settle.
One session gives some immediate hydration, but the full course is 2–3 sessions about 3–6 weeks apart, with the collagen result building over the following months. Plan repeat visits, or finish a course at home if it's available.
Often paired with a lifting treatment like Shurink or Ultherapy, or booked alongside Rejuran for comparison, in the same visit.
Like Rejuran, Juvelook suits the cooler, drier months: its bumps and swelling take 2–3 days to settle, and clinics ask you to avoid heat, sweat and alcohol meanwhile. October to March has the lowest UV.
It combines PDLLA (poly-D,L-lactic acid) microparticles with non-crosslinked hyaluronic acid. The HA gives immediate hydration; the PDLLA gradually stimulates the skin's own collagen production.
No. It's MFDS-approved in Korea and CE-marked in Europe, but it isn't cleared for use in the United States.
Juvelook uses smaller particles injected closer to the surface for texture, pores and fine lines. Juvelook Volume uses larger, higher-dose particles injected deeper for facial volume, and its results tend to last longer.
Most people have 2–3 sessions spaced about 3–6 weeks apart, with the collagen result building over the following 3–6 months.
Expect small bumps and some swelling for roughly 1–3 days, occasionally with light bruising that can take a bit longer to fade. It usually settles a little slower than Rejuran's downtime.
Rejuran (polynucleotides) is more about repair and skin quality with less swelling. Sculptra (PLLA) goes deeper for structural volume with no immediate hydration boost. Juvelook sits in between: some instant plumpness from HA, plus gradual PDLLA-driven collagen.
Fairly, but the sample is small: 11 Seoul clinic listings for 2cc, from ₩88,000–₩306,000. Juvelook comes in several versions (Skin, Volume, Eye), and we only count the 2cc skin booster, so check which one you're quoted.

PDLLA (poly-D,L-lactic acid) is a biodegradable polymer that breaks down into water and carbon dioxide in the body. Formulated as small, porous microparticles, it's designed to stimulate the fibroblasts that make collagen, with a structure meant to carry less lump risk than older, more crystalline PLLA particles.
The hyaluronic acid in the formula gives immediate hydration and plumpness, while the PDLLA works more slowly over the following weeks and months as new collagen forms.
Juvelook and Juvelook Volume use the same two ingredients in different doses and particle sizes: Juvelook uses smaller particles (around 30µm) injected closer to the surface for skin quality, while Juvelook Volume uses larger particles injected deeper for structural volume.
PDLLA (Juvelook) and PLLA (Sculptra) are chemical relatives, but PDLLA's more amorphous, porous particle structure is designed to reduce the nodule risk associated with Sculptra's more crystalline particles. Both still rely on gradual collagen remodelling rather than an instant result.
