Shurink focuses ultrasound energy into points under the skin at 1.5, 3.0 and 4.5 mm, heating tiny spots without breaking the surface. The body repairs them by making new collagen, which tightens the skin over the following weeks.
Shurink Universe's micro-pulsed (MP) mode spreads the heat as a near-continuous band instead of separate dots, and Classys says it treats 2.5 times faster than normal mode. It's marketed as gentler.
Unlike Ultherapy, Shurink has no built-in ultrasound imaging: the operator places the cartridge by anatomy, not by seeing the layers. That's part of why it's cheaper and why the operator's skill matters.
